On December 20, 2010, PP Batangas Team Leader NINGNING DOBLE handed over the following items listed below to LIZA DE JESUS, PP Liaison and President of the Parish Social Action Committee (PSAC):
400 PAIRS OF SLIPPERS
400 KILOS OF RICE
800 RAMEN NOODLES
400 CHOCOLATE PACKS
400 SARDINES
200 COLORING BOOKS
200 CRAYONS
8 BOXES OF GENTLY USED CLOTHES AND TOYS
PP Heroes came together to provide gifts for the holidays to 400 families of Banay, Banay Batangas. We also provided coloring books and crayons for 200 kids. As an added bonus, Pusong Pinoy heeded the call of PSAC when we found out that they were still in need of 230 loaves of bread for their upcoming Christmas event, "Paskohan sa Parokya".
Thanks to our PP volunteers (DANILO ERAS, JR; EM CHARISSE BENEDICTO; JOHN DANIEL BELLEN; and SHARMAINE BELLEN) for helping TL Ning sort and repack the gift bags. Special thanks to Philippines Core Team Leader SUSAN CHUA for sending some of the items from Manila to Batangas. Most of all, thank you to all the PP Heroes for sharing your blessings so that 400 families may have a Merry Christmas this time of year. Hats off to all of you!
