On April 14, 2011, the Parish Action Social Committee (PSAC) took 54 underprivileged kids to Enchanted Kingdom, a theme park in the Philippines, as part of their "Lakbay Aral" project. The tickets were donated by the aunt of PSAC's President LIZA DE JESUS.
When PSAC first received the tickets, they didn't have funds for transportation and snacks for the kids. That's when PP Heroes stepped in and made this field trip possible. This was the first time for these kids to be outside their community and they had a great day of fun!
Pusong Pinoy would like to thank the following PP HEROES for helping make this trip possible:

PSAC has been a Pusong Pinoy recipient for almost two years. Their mission is to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in the Philippines, not only by helping them with their needs, but encouraging a positive outlook on life. Special thanks to PSAC's President LIZA DE JESUS and all the volunteers for their tireless acts of kindness and generosity to the underprivileged kids in their community.
We also want to highlight ARAL PINOY.ORG, a non-stock, non-profit organization registered in the Philippines. It was founded by ANTONIO INGLES, a classroom and online instructor who believes that each learner is truly unique; endowed by God with talents and gifts. Aral Pinoy was inspired and born out of helping and working with the marginalized sectors of our society during his seminary days. It has been his vision to make a vital difference in the lives of Filipinos particularly by the rural poor: the indigenous people, the rural women, the fisher folks, the farmers, the rural youth, the elderly, persons with disabilities and the informal sector.
