Pusong Pinoy Baquio-Benguet Team Leaders BYD BAWAYAN and ADI LAPPAO with Vice-Team Leader MAJOY TOYAOAN paid a visit to the Kabuyao Elementary School to turn over 1,652 children's books - 1,028 books donated by Hong Lok Yuen International School to our PP Team Hong Kong and 624 from private donors to PP Team California. This will help fill up the school's mini library which has very limited resources and instructional materials. Some are obsolete books and cannot be used as reference materials.
In addition, the PP team distributed food, clothes, toys, and pencils to the students. These items finally arrived from the United States, which was supposed to be a part of our Christmas project.Mr. Edgar Vicente, Principal of Kabuyao Elementary School, stated:
"In behalf of the students and teachers of KES, our sincerest thanks to all the donors. Sana po ay hindi kayo magsawa na tumulong sa mga batang eto. Maraming Maraming salamat po."
