In June 2009, Pusong Pinoy Team visited Unang Hakbang Foundation (UHF) and donated three standfans and one set of used Encyclopedia. They also served lunch to 300 UHF kids. On a separate visit, PP Philippines Team Leader Susan Chua delivered 500 gently-used children's books to UHF.
UHF is an organization engaged in helping children on the street and in poor urban communities by creating sanctuaries for these children. UHF designs and promotes programs to help these kids realize their potential to become productive and responsible members of their communities.
